Tide & Tackle: Dashing Depths

Set sail in a pixel art fishing roguelike where peaceful waters can become dangerous without warning.

Catch valuable fish, master the reeling challenge, purchase powerful Items, collect Tomes, upgrade your Harbor, and build a different strategy during every run. As you travel into deeper waters, fishing becomes combat. Dodge incoming attacks, hook enormous monsters, and reel them in before they destroy your boat.

Alpha v0.3.2 Rising Rage and Music

This update introduces unique music for every world, adaptive boss music, stronger boss Rage mechanics, improved World 3 fishing balance, animated water effects, fishing sound effects, smoother controls, and additional visual polish.

Alpha Notice

Dashing Depths is currently in Alpha.

The game is playable from beginning to end, but development is still active. You may encounter bugs, balance issues, unfinished details, or features that change in future updates. New fish, Items, worlds, bosses, upgrades, accessibility options, and quality improvements are planned.

Honest feedback, bug reports, and suggestions are greatly appreciated. Every response helps me improve the game.

Download and Installation

1. Click the Download button below.
2. Download the Windows ZIP file.
3. Right click the ZIP and select Extract All.
4. Open the extracted TideAndTackleDashingDepths folder.
5. Double click TideAndTackleDashingDepths.exe to begin playing.

The game must be extracted before launching. Python, Pygame, and additional software are not required.

About the Developer

My name is Jude, and I created Tide & Tackle: Dashing Depths through One Studio.

I am a disabled 19 year old developer, and I survived three strokes as a child. Completing a game and releasing it to the public is a huge personal milestone for me. This project began as a small idea and grew into something I am genuinely proud to share.

Dashing Depths will continue growing through new updates and player feedback. Thank you for playing, supporting my journey, and helping me build something special.
